What to expect from the company
1) Basic Salary
Typically there is No Basic Salary, and Brokers work with a 50/50 commission share with the Brokerage. You need to be prepared financially to get started because it could take a few months to get the ball rolling and generate commission income. Find out how commission percentages calculated here.
2) Employee Benefits
Standard employee benefits such as annual tickets, allowances or bonuses, etc. may not apply for a broker’s position. However, Brokerage companies in Dubai typically provide Brokers with all the tools needed to get started, such as:
- Employment visa
- Office desk
- Broker’s license
- Advertisement space
- Administrative support
- Stationery/Print Materials
- Professional Photography, etc.
If you are lucky you might also get a company car, mobile, laptop, marketing support, training, and even a Basic salary for a period of time or full employment. Basic salary may come with a lower percentage of commission, it all depends on the company.
